fau Shooting - Classes Cancelled

fau Shooting has lockdown the Florida Atlantic University's Boca Raton campus. The police is searching for a man who opened fire at a party in a residence hall. One person was injured in the incident. The shooter left, and although police responded within two minutes of the emergency call and immediately ordered a lock down, they don't know whether the shooter made it off campus.



The Students are being told to stay in their dorm rooms while police continue their search. the campus will remain in lockdown until the gunman is eight caught or it's confirmed that he is no longer on the campus. Final exams were scheduled today, but will be postponed. Graduation is set for Friday and is expected to go on as scheduled. Cho Tipton is one of 26,245 students enrolled at FAU and one of the 2,400 students living on the Boca Raton campus. Most students commute. About 500 students live at the University Apartments where the shooting occurred.
