Harcharan Singh, Former Punjab's CM expired at his hometown Sarai Naga village in Muktar district on 6th September 2009 after long time sickness.
Congress party leader Harcharan Singh was Punjab\'s former CM and ex- governor of Hrayana and Orrissa state. He was 87 years old.
3-day mourning has been announced by the Punjab Government on the death of Former CM. All government offices, boards, corporations and education institutions will remain closed today.
The funeral of Harcharan Singh\'s will take place today (7 Sept 2009) at Sarai Naga village, at 3.00 P.M.
