Pakistani director Shoaib Mansoor's debut film 'Khuda Ke Liye' is all set to be released in Indian.

'Khuda Ke Liye' releases in India on April 04 making it the first Pakistani film to be officially released in India after 43 full years.

The film depicts the problems and dilemma of modern Muslims. The film raises the voices of liberal Muslims caught between fundamentalists and cynical muslims after 9/11

The film, which was released in 2007 in Pakistan, was a huge hit in Pakistani theatres.

Ugadi, the telugu new year, is celebrated with festive fervor in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. While it is called Ugadi in A.P. and Karnataka, in Maharashtra it is known as "Gudipadava".

On Ugadi day, people wake up before the break of dawn and take a head bath after which they decorate the entrance of their houses with fresh mango leaves. Shoaib Akhtar banned for 5 years

The five-year ban imposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) might affect Shoaib Akhtar's Indian Premier League (IPL) participation. The bowler might not play in the multi-million dollar Twenty20 series.
"It is extremely clear in our player policy that the respective player will have to get an NOC from his home country for joining the league. The home country can either issue or deny the NOC." IPL Chairman Lalit Modi said.

Akhtar was handed a five-year ban for repeated indiscipline.

Akhtar has been signed by Shah Rukh Khan's franchisee team Kolkata Knight Riders for a sum of USD 4.25 lakh. The first season of IPL begins on April 18. Shahrukh will appeal to PCB to lift the ban.

Shahrukh Khan says that Whatever might be the case, Shoaib will remain a part of the original Kolkata Knight Riders Team.

Peddapuri Ramakrishna Soumya Commit Suicide

Peddapuri Ramakrishna, a 30-year-old software professional committed suicide along with his wife Soumya (23) by consuming pesticide at their rented flat in Chandanagar near BHEL in Hyderabad. Police sources said the couple may have killed themselves on Tuesday night.

The Police were informed by the house owner after the latter got suspicious as the main door of the their house remained closed for the whole of Wednesday. Neighbors reported that the couple was last seen on Tuesday evening.

Acting on the house owner's report, police opened the doors of the house on Wednesday evening and found the techie and his wife lying dead on a bed. According to eye-witnesses, the bedroom was bolted from inside and two glasses and a bottle of pesticide, were found beside the bed.

Ramakrishna was to join Satyam Computer Services at Bangalore this month and then fly to Canada for an onsite assignment. Son of a temple priest and a native of Edida in East Godavari, he was all set to take up his new job after a two-year stint at Infotech Enterprises. The couple also left a 10-page suicide note detailing the reasons for their actions.

"He (Ramakrishna) mentioned that there was no understanding between them (the couple). He said he was committing suicide as he did not want to trouble his parents by forever fighting with his wife," Chandanagar inspector Tamarkanth Reddy said, quoting the suicide note.

The 'work & travel' programme is a US government initiative under which regular college students across the world can visit the country on temporary jobs during summer vacations—that is, from May to August. The scheme aims to enable students to "understand and experience American culture and life".

If you are a college student, you can travel to the US and earn some money. There is a US government programme under which you can travel to USA and fund your trip by working there.

Any graduate or PG student can apply under the scheme. The applicant will be screened by the designated companies for suitability to visit the US alone. Vipul Mehta, MD of Kareer Krafter, said one of the prerequisites is a working knowledge of English.

Mehta said there is huge demand for students for doing summer jobs under the programme. "There are enough opportunities to absorb 40,000-50,000 students," he said. However, as the scheme is virtually unknown in the country, only around 500 students were sent from India in 2007. So far, almost everyone who has applied got the visa, he added.
