Ganesh Chaturathi marks the birth of Ganesha. For ten days Ganesh statues situated at Ganesha Pandal, Lalbaugcha Raja of Mumbai, are worshiped and on the 11th day, the statues are taken through the streets with dancing, singing and trumpet blast to be immersed in sea.
