Sourav Ganguly, Shane Warne fined for violating Code of Conduct

Sourav Ganguly and Shane Warne were fined 10% of their match fee under Clause 1.3 of IPL for violating code of conduct. The fine was precipative action taken by the IPL after yesterdays match between Kolkata knightriders and Rajasthan Royals. Warne said Sourav Ganguly disregarded the spirit of cricket after he refused to walk for a catch which was claimed by Warne's Rajasthan Royals team player Graeme Smith.

Sourav said Shane Warne should look at it himself before telling Ganguly that he has violated the spirit of cricket. Umpire GA Pratapkumar was suspended for one match.
